Getting Married in Mexico will require special documentation.  Also, most resorts will offer 2 types of weddings Civil - which is a Legal Wedding or Religious or Vow Renewal which are not Legal.  Requirements for Legal Wedding are:

Requirements and documents required to get married in Mexico

• Valid passport
• Tourist Cards (blue sheets that you received at the airport)
• Final record of divorce (if necessary)
• Death certificate (if necessary)
• Health certificate and blood test. Must be provided by a Mexican official authority (not included)
• Bride & Groom must arrive 4 days prior to the ceremony!!

4 witnesses with passports and tourist cards (blue sheet received at the airport), provided by the hotel if needed
